After navigating through the formal application process and appearing before "The Committee," yesterday I appeared before the Supreme Court of Rwanda and held the hem of the flag of the Republic of Rwanda in my left hand, and raised my right hand high, and solemnly swore:
"Jyewe, Tom ALLEN, ndahiriye Igihugu kubahiriza Itegeko Nshinga, kuzakurikiza amategeko, kuzarenganura no kuzagira inama abansanga mu cyubahiro, umutimanama, mu bwenge n'ubumuntu, kutazaca ukubiri n'icyubahiro gikwiye inkiko n'inzego za Leta no kutagira inama cyangwa kutaburana urubanza ntemera ko ruri mu kuri nkurikije umutimanama wanjye." (That's easy for YOU to say!)
